Recently, Chloe's school had its annual field trip to the Dream Field Farms Pumpkin Patch!
Siblings were invited on this school field trip, so we decided to make it a family day, rather than planning a second trip to the pumpkin patch.
The pumpkin patch is one my favorite places to take fall pictures. It's the perfect fall backdrop!
These were a few pictures that we took while waiting for Chloe's class to gather.
First, we rode the "hayride" to the actual pumpkin patch.
Chloe found her pumpkin!
And, Evan found his!
This was my favorite picture of the day:)
The littles enjoyed the haystacks and slides.
My sweet boy!
We rode the hayride back to the second activity. Do you notice the pumpkin flower behind Chloe's ear?
Then, it was time to ride the cow train.
We also enjoyed the petting zoo.
And, we enjoyed story time in the shade. This was such a nice break. It gave everyone a chance to cool down in the shade before lunch.
After lunch, the kids all had a chance to play on the inflatables. This was our last activity on the agenda, but it was the one activity that all the kids couldn't wait to do.
Most of the class had left by this time, but we decided to stay on the farm and enjoy some of the activities that weren't on the schedule.
Ducky Races
In this next photo, there is clear photographic evidence that Daddy cheated! For shame!
Chloe stopped to smell the flowers;)
We played in the corn bin.
In the midst of all this, I couldn't help but admire all the beautiful scenery.
The littles rode the mini tractors.
Even Chris got in on the fun.
Evan was accusing Daddy of breaking the tractor in this picture. Ha!
We played on the hay bales.
You see that expression on Evan's face? After letting this little girl pass, Evan remarked, " She's cute!" Oh, boy!
We ended our trip with just a few more photos as we exited. This was my favorite of the bunch.
It was such a memorable and beautiful day at the pumpkin patch. I'm so thankful for days like these and fun family time! Happy fall y'all!
I love the rubber duck races! Cute! Love the photo of you with the kids and all the corn pics! Looks like an awesome pumpkin patch!!
ReplyDeleteWe always have fun at this pumpkin patch! The corn bin photos were some of my faves too:)
