Christmas Cookie Baking with Nana & Aunt Sara

December 12, 2012
The littles have an annual Christmas cookie baking tradition with their Nana and Aunt Sara. The tradition started when Chloe was 2-years-old, and once Evan was old enough to hold a rolling pin, he joined in on the yearly ritual.

In anticipation of their upcoming cookie baking date, the littles and I put together a little surprise for Nana and Aunt Sara.

The gift basket included personalized aprons, "Naughty" and "Nice" spatulas, mini cookie cutters, and a gingerbread pot holder and hand towel set.

Nana emailed some of the pictures of their cooking making fun to share! Thank you:)

I was told later, that after one batch, Evan was done. He's such a boy!

However, he did stop to help the girls model their aprons:)

I know that it must be the lighting, but Chloe looks so "grown" in these pictures.

This is such a fun tradition and I know that the littles will remember these special days with their Nana and Aunt Sara when they are older.

Later that day, Chris and I drove to Nana's and Granddaddy's to spend the afternoon visiting. Paw-paw (Chris' grandfather) and Granny Kay were visiting all the way from Oregon!

We enjoyed catching up and a delicious dinner cooked by Nana!
