Pics with bunnies and chicks!!!!!
Evan was so funny at first. Let's just say some chocolate bribery was involved in getting him to cooperate with taking pictures. Making demands, and the possibility of him crying, was not going to work in this situation.
He eventually warmed up and was agreeable.
Chloe was so excited to hold live chicks and bunnies.
Evan is fearful of any costumed character...if it wasn't totally evident by his reaction to Santa, seen {here}! I can only imagine how badly he would have acted if he had met the local mall's Easter Bunny this year, but I knew that he would love holding live animals. Blame their animal-loving spirit on their Momma. I started college as a Pre-Vet/Microbiology major...
I can't wait to see how the actual photos turn out!
Also, the littles picked up their painted ceramics while we were out running errands.
I'll confess. Evan may have had a "little" help painting his. Chloe did most of her painting on her own. I just did some of the detail painting.
I'm decorating our mantle for spring and these took a prime spot on it. Evan was upset when he saw that I made his car look "pretty." His response was, " Take it out!" Ha!
It was such a beautiful day this past Saturday and I love that so many of our activities centered around Spring. I'm ready for the warmer weather and for Easter!:)
I have been wanting to take my kids to paint pottery, I know my daughter would love it especially. I am sure the bunny and chicks pics will be just adorable!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Carrie! It was fun! I just had to keep reminding myself that it didn't matter if it was perfect or not. Chloe really enjoyed it. I just went after her painting with a few details. Evan is still a little too young. I guided his hand most of the time until he got tired and let me take over.
DeleteThis is such a fun thing to do with your kids. How absolutely adorable taking pictures of the kids with bunnies and chicks. You are SOME Mom!!!
