As you can tell from the sign, I wasn't very prepared for her last day. In fact, I really hadn't thought about it until the night before when a mom at church mentioned it. I quickly whipped up a sign that morning and dressed Chloe in the same outfit that she wore on her first day for comparison. I should have included the date on the sign, but, oh well...
It's fun to compare these first and last day shots. Her face has matured so much in less than a year. The sign is on her foot in the first shot, but I can tell that she is longer and leaner. I love the baby chubs and she appears to be losing them:( Who is this lovely young girl that is replacing my baby?
When I look at her, I see a bright future. We've already had an orientation meeting for Kindergarten. "Big kids' school" should be an exciting and challenging new adventure.
I need to do these chalkboard signs next year, I am so late in the game, tho... She really has matured this year! I really can't believe preschool is over, I find it hard to believe since Autumn in my 'baby'! Wah! I am excited, too, to see what her future holds and I know it will be awesome!
