We kicked off our Easter festivities with Chloe's class Easter Brunch that was held at the home of one of her classmates.
Everything was well-planned by our gracious hostess.
Here she is explaining the rules of the carrot toss game to the littles.
Chloe's toss
Evan's toss - He made it to round three of the game:)
The carrot toss was followed by an egg relay race.
After the game, was the very anticipated Easter egg hunt.
The cavalry has arrived.
The littles were so quick. I was only able to snap a few shots as they ran past.
Chloe's and Evan's hauls
After the egg hunt, we enjoyed brunch on the patio. This was my favorite part of the day;)
The photo props were the cutest! Or, maybe, I'm thinking of the subjects...of course, I am just a little biased.
Then, it was time for the egg piñata. The "Thomas Duo" were responsible for breaking it open.
Chloe was the muscle. She broke the piñata with a super-hard swing.
Little man finished it off.
As a side note, I'm not sure if I should be proud or scared. Ha!
All joking aside, we had a fun morning. We were itching to get outdoors since the days leading to the class party were rain-filled. It's nice to be able to enjoy mornings like these with my family. We had so many of God's blessings to count on this morning: pretty weather, time together, a great teacher, fun classmates, sweet parents...the list goes on and on. I'm so thankful for God's love and mornings like these.
How kind of her to have the party at her home! The carrot sauce is such a cute idea for a game, I need to remember that for next year! We just did Autumn's egg hunt today at school (after Easter!)... it was fun!
